Insert the end of the banding through the slot in the tool nose and through the slot in the mandrel. Slide the tool forward so that the nose approaches the buckle or wing seal. Push and pull the handle back and forth to turn the mandrel and draw the banding through the buckle. When the banding is tight, rotate the tool over the buckle or wing seal. Squeeze the handles together to cut the banding. Use the knob opposite winding mandrel as a hammer head to tap down ears of buckles or wing seals. |
